Online Queer and Neurodivergent Affirming Therapy across Canada

Therapy is already hard inner work. You shouldn’t have to play Queer 101 educator for your therapist too! 

As queer people, we’re existing within systems that weren’t built for us and that we can’t just think our way out of. 

Systems suck. So we built our own!

An anti-oppressive system that provides collective support and transformative shifts. 

Our Landing Place is for us. Those of us who haven’t had their identity affirmed in the past, haven’t found a therapist that’s the right fit for them, or who just need someone to talk to. 

We get the nuances of the queer experience because we’re living it, just like you! That being said, we won’t automatically assume that our queer experience is your queer experience. But what we will do is hear, support, and affirm you.

When it’s time to do the work, come as you are.

You can start therapy knowing exactly what changes you need to make. You can also start therapy not knowing where to begin.

You may or may not have a diagnosis. 

Your queer identity might not even have anything to do with why you’re in therapy. (Sometimes you really do just want to vent about that one crappy coworker.) 

Whatever brings you to therapy and however you show up is valid.

We’ll work together to set realistic expectations and find strategies that’ll work for you. Because once you start to notice your patterns and get to know yourself better, the easier it is to make those big life-changing shifts. 

You can’t overshare with or trauma dump on a therapist. That’s what we’re here for! To hold space for you as you sit through the big feelings, relearn your worth, and grow at a pace that you’re comfortable with.

You’re never too much for us. You are enough. This is a safer place to land that we’ll build together.

What to expect from Individual Therapy with Our Landing Place

Online sessions are typically 50 minutes, but some of our therapists can accommodate longer sessions too. 

You’ll work with your therapist to determine the frequency of your sessions (which can look different for everyone). 

If you’re looking for more of a deep dive rather than ongoing sessions (or a combination of both), you may be interested in our Individual Intensives

Our therapists offer a variety of fees and limited sliding scale availability.
