We’re building some big ideas and we think you can help.

You’re here because you believe deeply in helping others and you know the fundamental role accessible mental health care plays in building strong communities. You recognize the many barriers 2SLGBTQIA+ folks face and want to be part of a community of advocates and allies working towards a solution.

We want to make it easy for you to take part, so we’ve got a range programs and ways to support the work we do through our Community Partnerships. Each program offers tiers of engagement, each with their own rewards and recognition.

Take a look below at the programs we’re building. Each of them targets a community within Canada’s larger 2SLGBTQIA+ demographic that deserves and needs access to affordable and culturally competent care. We’re hoping to get liftoff on these soon, and you could be a part of their development and expansion.

Here are some of the things we’re working on.

Intersections Program

Our Intersections Program recognizes the structural challenges Black and POC queer people face and offers ongoing subsidized therapy sessions with culturally competent clinicians.

HRT and Surgical Assessment Support

HRT and Surgical Assessments can be paid forward individually or through a larger donation. This is an essential part of medical care that is often not covered by Canadian health plans.

Indigiqueer Emerging Adult Mental Health Initiative

Our Indigiqueer Emerging Adult Mental Health Initiative provides 2SLGBTQIA+ Indigenous individuals and families (from 13 - 29 years of age) with therapy from an indigenous lens.

2SLGBTQIA+ Immigrant and Refugee

Welcome Committee

2SLGBTQIA+ Refugees are often arriving in this country with little support and lots to process. We want to create programs that can offer solace to this community of newcomers and we need your help.

Generation Q

Funding for therapy for queer youth, aged 14-19, is an ongoing goal for our team - we need help structuring this resource and visioning how to reach this community!

Each of these programs need your help.

We’ve got a tiered system of contribution, each with their own benefits to you as a contributor.

  • Boost

You boost the program’s reach and give it strength to achieve or exceed its goals.

    In return, you’ll…

    - get a Shout Out in that quarter’s newsletter

    - have your name and logo proudly displayed as a Booster on that program’s page for 1 year

  • Sustain

You sustain the program and allow it to extend to new communities. Your contribution adds depth and capacity to the program.

    In return, you’ll…

    - get a Shout Out in that quarter’s newsletter and be thanked on our social media accounts

    - have your name and logo proudly displayed as a Sustainer on that program’s page for 1 year

    - receive a complimentary Lunch and Learn facilitated by a member of our team and curated to your team’s unique needs

  • Empower

You empower the program to make real change. You’ll boldly support the long term structural capacity of this program and help make it what it is.

    In return, you’ll…

    - get a Shout Out in each newsletter for that year and be thanked on social media posts about the program you supported

    - have your name and logo proudly displayed, recognizing that the program is Empowered by YOU.

    - be automatically included as a sponsor of our annual Queering Mental Health conference

    - receive a complimentary half day workshop facilitated by a member of our team and tailored to your team’s unique needs and interests

    - receive preferred pricing, cooperative programming, and bundled resources for your team
